I'm Karla, a Lebanese-Filipina journalist and writer based between Vancouver, Beirut and Manila.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice and a Master of Journalism degree from the University of British Columbia.

My work is deeply influenced by my parents’ migration journeys and rich heritage, serving as the driving force behind my compelling narratives.
